space station – 91/1000

I miss you, dear one, it’s cold and dark out here among the stars.

I miss the green and blue Earth and seeing the moon glow above us, but now I see no planets, no moons, only stars and other space stations.

I’m sorry, dear one, that we destroyed your home before you got a chance to enjoy it, and I’m sorry I didn’t take you with me when I left.

It’s cold and dark out here, dear one, stay down.

Better to breathe the poison and feel the radiation on your skin, right?

You don’t want to come up.

If you’ve enjoyed any of my work, please consider having a coffee with me.

I’m on a mission to post 1,000 100 word stories! Follow this publication to keep reading them.

UPDATE 3/31/26 – I’m fucking tired of this project, this mission sucks, I’m stopping at 100 and then maybe in a few months I’ll do 100 more.

I’m experiencing with different writing styles, as long as they all add up to exactly 100 words, and trying a new AI image generator to help keep looking the same around here. I hope that doesn’t steer you away from my words.
