What is the greatest gift someone could give you?

When we had our family Christmas, Bobby told me that he had something special coming for me, but it hadn’t arrived yet. I’d have to wait a little while.
I’m not a big gift lover, I mean, I love gifts, but I’m not going to get annoyed if one doesn’t come for me.
But then the mail came yesterday and he brought me a big, slim package.
It’s a copy of a 1961 edition of LOOK Magazine in which my grandfather was profiled and interviewed about his time as a submariner in the Navy.
Being in the Navy was something he was extremely proud of, and I loved hearing all of his stories of being in the Navy that were just off the wall comical, and sometimes just amazing. He was able to tour the world and then lived a whole full, long life afterwards.
Before now, all I had was a bad photocopy of this article, and now I have the whole magazine with all of his photos and words.

He was a damn fine looking young man, if I do say so myself.
Bobby nailed it in the gift department.
I think this is the most thoughtful, special gift anyone has ever given me, and I started sobbing as soon as I saw what it was.
These are the gifts that matter. My heart says so.
